MEMPHIS BLEEK TALKS & SO DOES MARVELOUS MO!

memphis_bleek

It’s been a while since I posted something on here.  It’s because I’ve been on the grind and hustle.  If you’re behind in work or trying to rush a deadline, posting on your blog every day seems like your priorities aren’t straight.   I guess I should start posting my work from Roc4Life.com, the community site for Rocawear.com.

These past few months has been very Jay-Z oriented.  One day I’m wondering if I’ll ever see Hov like err’yone else does in the industry, the next month I see him 49484984 times.  Being that he checks the site, I’m sure he’s watched my dorky ass video interviews.  Son eyeballed me like he knew me a few times.  Not sure if that’s a good look or a bad one.

Anyway, on assignment I deebo’d an interview with Bleek for the site.  If you’ve watched any of my past interviews, you’ve noticed I edited voice out of the video.  This time I haven’t, so don’t make fun of the way I talk!!!!!! lol  In Bleek’s whip, we had a candid conversation about his career an his life.  Definitely enjoy the interview.

Part 1: Bleek talks about his brolationship with Jay-Z and why he feels he’s out of his league. He also talks about why fame, females & money would never divide their friendship, his thoughts on Kanye West’s success with Jay compared to his own, memories of when Hov checked his ego, and his view about the fate of his career.

By the way…. the “blogger” he’s specifically talking about is someone we all know.  You think he’s wrong for blowing him up like that?  Nah, right?*

Part 2: These days Jay-Z has been under a lot of ridicule from other rappers and Bleek tells us why he’s been very quiet about his position. He also talks about Jim Jones, The Game, T-Pain and gives a warning to internet bloggers who feel it’s OK to throw him under the bus on their sites.

Part 3: Finally Bleek tells us about his new situation with his label Get Low Records, his album The Process. His artist G Baby shares his reason to signing to Bleek’s label.

  1. I have always liked memphis bleek since he first came out. I liked him because he was youthful, fresh and innovative. He was street and he always told the truth. I am glad to see that he has matured now and I wish the best for him and his record label.
